Following the 2-1 win versus Cheltenham Town at Whaddon Road in League One, I asked the Vital Lincoln City members to nominate who they believe was City’s Man of the Match. On this occasion, four players were nominated within 24 hours following the thread being started. Those players were: Joe Taylor, Freddie Draper, Paudie O’Connor and Adam Jackson. Thank you to those who voted!

Following the nominations, we opened the poll up to everyone and this is how it finished:

Here are some of the views from the nominations thread:

bbh 11: “Good display from POC but I virtually always go for a defensive player as myself and my son played there. Today I am going for Joe Taylor who had the X factor. Without the equaliser and the efforts on goal, I don’t think the self-belief would have been there.”

PWould: “Joe Taylor followed closely by Joe Taylor, with Joe Taylor in third. A no-brainer. He changed the game in our favour.”

evenstephen: “Jackson – Hir first start for a while and was excellent in the air and with the tackle when needed.”
