Carlisle United (a): Vital Lincoln City Man of The Match

Following the 3-1 win away at Carlisle United in League One, I asked the Vital Lincoln City members to nominate who they believe was City’s Man of the Match. On this occasion, four players were nominated within 24 hours following the thread being started. Those players were: Jordan Wright, Ethan Erhahon, Teddy Bishop and Paudie O’Connor. But I’ll go for Jordan Wright, brought in at short notice, he made some important saves and looked rock solid throughout. The only noticeable difference to Jensen was punching instead of catching a couple of crosses and the communication with the back 3 wasn’t as clear, which was understandable.”

His performance dropped off a little after that but he came back into the game late on winning and scoring that exceptional free kick. Not bad for a player who couldn’t last games before Skubala came to the club (or so we were being told).”
