Which player did Lincoln re-sign from Swindon in August 1981, making a profit of £70,000 in the process?

Views from the Match Thread ahead of kick-off:

Imp13: “Big game without the glamour of the recent fixtures but just as important. A real test for the stretched squad.

I said an early goal v Wigan was key and that turned out to be wrong. I think it’s even more important as Swindon will pack men behind the ball, even more so if the game is tied and goes deep.

Getting the ball to feet on the half-turn Johnson and Rogers is so important to our counters. Hope we can do that more here.

Expecting to see Sanders start, hope he plays in the 6 role letting the other mids break.”

HitherImp: “Evening Imps! Another exciting Tuesday at the Bank, it’s not going to be easy but we’ll do this…..”
