Scotimp’s Views (From Season Preview):

Rookie manager Fazakerley faces a hard season, having lost two of his better players in Bush and Vose. With gates habitually on the low side, competition from other clubs in the area for players and fans will mean Conference survival is usually the objective at Park View Road. This season will be no different. Interest for Imps fans in the presence of Kabba.

Prediction: Relegation battle.

Scotimp’s Views (From Season Preview):

One of the unknown quantities in the league this season, a large turnover of staff under the inexperienced management of former player Moyses could produce an interesting opening few months for the Imps. Fund-raising activities of various kinds have raised over £200,000 during the close season, improving both the club’s financial standing and the playing budget. The new defence looks very solid with a better quality of player in midfield; with the departure of Tomlinson and Burrow, the question will be whether or not the side has enough goals in it. The difference could be the fitness of long-term injury victim Liam Hearn: a fit Hearn could secure a play-off spot.

Prediction: Top half for the first time since relegation in 2011.
