And now for the answer provided by George:

How long have you supported Charlton Athletic?

I have supported Charlton since I was 4. Mostly downs but a few ups in there.

Where did you finish last season?

Last season we finished 22nd in the Championship (would’ve been 23rd if Wigan didn’t get their point deduction).

What do you think of your manager?

Love our manager. Ever since he’s come in, he’s improved things massively for us. Made it a much more positive environment for the players and you can see their enjoying it a lot more. Would never have beaten Sunderland away or Plymouth 6-0 under Bows.

What were your hopes and expectations for the 2020/21 season?

My hopes were obviously promotion, but my expectations were low considering we started the season with a transfer embargo and had the wage cap in place like everyone else. A mid-table finish wouldn’t have surprised me at the start of the season

One(s) to watch?

Jake Forster-Caskey in midfield is excellent. Definitely championship standard. Ben Amos in goal is capable of making brilliant saves and has kept us in games this year. Ryan Inniss our centre back is a really defender and will bully strikers and Chuks Aneke (who’ll probably come off the bench) will cause problems.

Which sides did you think would finish in the top six at the start of the season?

Start of the season I thought Posh, Hull, Sunderland, Portsmouth, Doncaster and Ipswich would get top 6

Which sides did you think would finish in the bottom four at the start of the season?

Bottom four I thought would be Northampton, Crewe, Wimbledon and Swindon.

What are your thoughts on Lincoln City?

I really like Lincoln. Remember your famous cup run a couple of years ago and being in a pub watching the Burnley game. Always thought highly of you lot since then.

What do you think the score will be?

2-1 Lincoln. We’re poor at home and you’re quality away. Can’t see it being anything other than a Lincoln win.

Random fact about your Club?

We were the first club to ever use a substitute in English football.

If you could steal one Lincoln City player for your own team, who would it be and why?

Jorge Grant. Rate him highly.

What are your proudest and most embarrassing moments as a Charlton Athletic supporter?

Proudest would probably be the many protests we had to get the owners out. We’ve now got an excellent owner who cares for us. Proud of that.

Most embarrassing would probably be at Hull away when we got spanked 6-0 and had to stand right next to the Hull fans.

Who would you say is your most underrated player?

Alex Gilbey. Drives the midfield forward and creates chances. Does defensive work as well and loves a tackle. Can also pop up with goals if he wants to.

Do you have a Supporters Trust and what role do they play at the Club?

We do have a supported club called CAST (Charlton Athletic Supporters Trust). It’s job is to make sure future generations have a good club in Charlton that they feel proud to support.

Which was your favourite match involving Charlton Athletic?

Sunderland at Wembley. Nothing beats a last minute winner to secure promotion.

Which was your least favourite match involving Charlton Athletic?

No answer provided.

Do you have a Former Players Association at Charlton Athletic?

A Former Players Association has popped up here and there for charity games but do not see it much.

What is the best thing about Charlton?

Charlton the place is a right dump so the best thing about is probably the ground. The Subways not too bad either.
