The Vital Lincoln City members’ voted for whom they believe was The Imps Man of The Match in their 3-3 draw away at Bury in Sky Bet League Two.

Views from Scotimp: “Shackell, no doubt. There was one clearance he made in the middle of the six-yard box that was superb: facing his own goal, many lesser players might have hammered that into their own net. Class.”

More Comments:

sedgleyimp: “Lots of good performances but Shackell was a giant. International class performance. Can we find a de-ageing potion for him please so he can keep going for us for another decade.”

berksimps: “Between Shackell and Rowe, didn’t think anyoneone else came close.

Gave it to Rowe, what a difference he has made in just a couple of games. He is quick mentally, knows what he wants to do in advance, and is confident enough to take on defenders and beat them. Not only that, he instinctively scores goals. A great performance, as was Shackell’s.”

Stevie_imp: “Shackell was excellent for the whole game. Did not look like he’ll be 36 this year and looked really fit. A very experienced centre back with lengthly spells at Derby and Burnley to looked the part on Saturday.
