Top of the pile is the ever-popular LASSE SØRENSEN who turned in one of the most memorable performances by any City player for many a year in the win over Charlton. Sørensen is now appearing up front for the Imps after spells in midfield and at wingback and will be developing a reputation as a utility man in the eyes of any suitors watching.

ETHAN HAMILTON has to settle for second place despite topping the ratings four times in six games during October. Hamilton has actually finished in pole position in no fewer than eight of his ten appearances in September and October, a wonderful record.

In third place, we have ALEX MITCHELL, who is rapidly turning into one of our best loanees in recent times. A bid for the big centre back in January would not be a huge surprise although Millwall are known to think highly of him. Mitchell currently leads the way for VLC Away Player of the Season.

An honourable mention this month to Alistair Smith whose five appearances after an inconsistent start to the season see him settle in seventh place with a respectable 6.38.

The average team rating of 6.24 is the lowest of the season so far.
