Top of the pile by a significant margin is ETHAN HAMILTON, who topped the ratings four times from his five appearances during the month. If anyone thought it would be impossible to find another Ethan Erhahon, let alone one who can play so well alongside him, think again. Now all Mark Kennedy needs to do is find a third talented Scottish midfielder called Ethan to complete a unique collection.

SEAN ROUGHAN continues to take strides forward in his football career and takes second place after an impressive run of games in central defence. It is surprising to note that Sean still has two seasons of U21 international football ahead of him in which to make that step up to the seniors.

In third place, we have LASSE SØRENSEN who not only takes the title of the most improved player in living memory, but also seems to be getting better and better. Lasse finished the month with two goals against hapless Cheltenham to become top scorer. Who needs House and Walker anyway? (We do, you idiot – Ed).

Honourable mentions this month go to Alex Mitchell who has made the transition to League One football with no problems at all, and to Hakeeb Adelakun who finishes the month with an impressive average rating of 6.47 despite having played no competitive football beforehand.

The average team rating of 6.69 is marginally the best of the season so far.
