Who were our star performers in January?

Top of the pile is REGAN POOLE after an extraordinary run of outstanding performances. Poole has finished in the top two for the last seven games in a row, including topping the ratings four times. His average rating of 8.05 for January is the highest monthly average for any player so far this season.

CHRIS MAGUIRE takes second place after an equally extraordinary performance at Sunderland. Maguire became the first player in City’s history to score a hat-trick against his previous club in a Football League match, and the first to do so against any former club in a Football League match. His average rating of 9.66 for that match is the highest individual score since these ratings began.

In third place, we have TJ EYOMA, back on top form after a slow start to the season. The debate is now raging regarding his best position, and the same must also apply to Regan Poole.

Honourable mentions this month go to Cohen Bramall who is finally showing why Michael Appleton brought him to Lincoln, and Max Melbourne after two solid performances under difficult personal circumstances. If his appearance at Plymouth proves to be his last in City’s colours, he has a great memory to take with him.
