Who were our star performers in September?
Top of the pile is JOSH GRIFFITHS, making a fine comeback after a challenging first month. Two outstanding performances ensure a clear gap of more than half a mark over second place. Griffiths showed exactly why he is an England U21 squad regular at the age of 19.
REGAN POOLE takes second place, having captained the side for the first time at Burton. Poole appears to have settled into the full-back slot at last after joining in the difficult January window.
In third place, we have young loanee LEWIS FIORINI who took over the injured Conor McGrandles’ midfield position with some aplomb. Three goals during the month is a good return for a player finding his feet in League football.
