Who were our star performers in October?
Top of the pile is LEWIS MONTSMA, returning to his best with some fearless performances at the heart of defence. His cross-field passes are getting better by the game, and his two goals bizarrely make him the month’s top scorer.
CHRIS MAGUIRE takes second place, returning from injury to show us exactly why Michael Appleton was so eager to sign him. Further to what he does with the ball, his activities off the ball have also attracted plaudits from fans who fear Lincoln may have become too soft.
In third place we have CONOR McGRANDLES, who has stepped up to the captaincy in style. Playing an unfamiliar role at the base of defensive midfield has not been easy, and his excellent diving header against Shrewsbury shows his eye for goal is still there.
An honourable mention this month goes to Dan N’Lundulu, missing a top three placing by 0.01 of a mark. Dan looks dangerous after an injury-hit start to his Imps career, and hopefully, his first goal at Wigan will give him the confidence to score more regularly and make the centre-forward position his own.
