Here’s how the poll finished:

Views from our poll thread:

PortMacImp: “So many players put in performances than in another game would have been more than good enough for a Man Of The Match nomination. In this particular game Adam Jackson was superb and provided everything the team needed to compete against a top side. Reagan Poole was also outstanding and I enjoyed the way Paudie O’Connor let the Ipswich players know they were going to endure a tough game. Matty Virtue and Sean Roughan both payed exceptionally well. Overall this was a fine team effort from everyone involved, including Mark Kennedy and his tactical plan.”

Chimpimp: “I wouldn’t argue with Jackson but have gone for Roughan. It took him a couple of games to get his feet when he came back into the side but he has been really good (excusing one moment of madness at Bolton) since then.

If Ipswich had regularly been able to get behind our fullbacks Jackson’s job would have been even harder. They certainly didn’t get the better of Roughan and there were a couple of brilliant inch-perfect balls down the line which set off counter-attacks, which were really something to admire.”

Cricklewoodimp: “The entire back five were magnificent, particularly Jackson. However, I’m going to give it to an eighteen-year-old, who had his best game in a City shirt. Step forward future Rep of Ireland full international, Sean Roughan.”
