The Vital Lincoln City members’ voted for whom they believe was The Imps Man of The Match in their 0-0 draw away at Portsmouth in League One.

Views from PerthImp: “The defence all had a good game- bodies on the line and all that. Personally, I’ve been mightily impressed with Rushworth. He has shown, especially in this game, that he commands his area, is a shot-stopper, and (more importantly) things stick to him instead of dropping them back into the path of opposition strikers. Gives the defence so much confidence and more willingness to fight. Rushworth for me.”

Here’s how the poll finished:

More views from our poll thread:

Norfolk Imp: “Poole absolute class again, Rushworth & Sørensen both impressive too.”

Chimpimp: “Robson. Defended tenaciously with some vital blocks. Could have been any number very much a team effort.”

Impartiality: “Poole for me, puts his body on the line knowing it is going to hurt. I will be delighted if he is still an Imp when the transfer window closes.”

July Man of The Match winner:

Exeter City (h): Lasse Sørensen: 20 votes – 46.5%
