Scotimp’s Views (From Season Preview):

One of the unknown quantities in the league this season, a large turnover of staff under the inexperienced management of former player Moyses could produce an interesting opening few months for the Imps. Fund-raising activities of various kinds have raised over £200,000 during the close season, improving both the club’s financial standing and the playing budget. The new defence looks very solid with a better quality of player in midfield; with the departure of Tomlinson and Burrow, the question will be whether or not the side has enough goals in it. The difference could be the fitness of long-term injury victim Liam Hearn: a fit Hearn could secure a play-off spot.

Prediction: Top half for the first time since relegation in 2011.

Scotimp’s Views (From Season Preview):

Like play-off winners Boreham Wood, Conference South champions Bromley will be appearing in the top tier for the first time. Experience has been brought in from the Football League to strengthen the existing squad, although the loss of experienced Jamie Slabber to work commitments is a blow. Signings also include the manager’s son Brad; can’t beat a bit of nepotism! A full house at Hayes Lane last week saw Premier League side Crystal Palace race into a 5-0 lead after just 30 minutes before easing off for a 6-0 win.

Prediction: Lower reaches, but should survive for a second season.
