How long have you supported Oxford United?

Just over 20 years.

Where did you finish last season?

8th. A disappointing end to a frustrating season.

What do you think of your manager?

Got a lot of time for Karl Robinson but I feel the pressure will be higher for him this season.

What are your hopes and expectations for the 2022/23 season?

To finish in the top six.

One(s) to watch?

Matty Taylor up top, and he hasn’t scored yet this season so is due a goal.

Cameron Brannagan in midfield – he rejected the chance to join Blackpool.

Summer signing Stuart Findlay in defence has also settled in well.

Which teams do you think will finish in the top six in League One?

Sheffield Wednesday, Peterborough, Oxford, Derby, Portsmouth, and Bolton.

Which teams do you think will finish in the bottom four in League One?

Burton, Forest Green, Morecambe, and Fleetwood.

What are your thoughts on Lincoln City?

A new season so haven’t seen too much of them. Be interesting how they do with a new manager but a likeable club

What do you think the score will be?

1-0 Oxford.

Random fact about your Club?

We were the first club to win a major trophy (Milk Cup in 1986) to be relegated from the Football League.

If you could steal one Lincoln City player for your own team, who would it be and why?

Have a soft spot for Chris Maguire, for obvious reasons, but most probably Anthony Scully.

What are your proudest and most embarrassing moments as an Oxford United supporter?

Proudest was promotion from the Conference in 2010. Promotion from League Two in 2016 was also up there.

Embarrassing would be relegation from the Football League – a 3-2 defeat at home to Leyton Orient on the final day of the 2005/06 season.

Who would you say is your most underrated player?

We have a few tricky wingers/forwards who have struggled to make an impact so far but can certainly change a game. Look out for Billy Bodin and Marcus Browne, in particular. Also, Marcus McGuane in midfield has drastically improved.

Do you have a Supporters Trust and what role do they play at the Club?

OxVox – OxVox is a non-profit making Supporters Trust, run by fans, for fans, with membership open to all Oxford United supporters everywhere.

Which was your favourite match involving Oxford United?

Any of the wins over Swindon are all good. We’ve also had a couple of 6-0 away wins (Lincoln and Crewe) that are up there. Middlesbrough away in the FA Cup was also an incredible day out.

Which was your least favourite match involving Oxford United?

Leyton Orient defeat to condemn us to relegation into non-league.

Is this the defining season for Karl Robinson at your club? Good manager but sometimes longevity at a club can work against teams. If you don’t go up this year are fresh ideas needed?

As I touched on earlier, I feel the pressure is on him more this season. Having missed out on the playoffs last season (despite finishing top six in the previous two) we need to be in the mix again. We should also see the takeover of the club happen this year so that could also bring changes.

Are you happier to play us now that Michael Appleton has moved on?

I don’t think it makes too much of a difference, in all honesty.
