We need to keep tweaking and getting the players up to speed. It’s unfortunate two of our most winnable home games have come so early though, especially interspersed with three such tricky away games.”

Decent substitutions but unfortunately too many over-hit balls into the box. Need to improve the final ball. Plus points, definitely Garrick. Great to see House get some game time and good to see Vernam get on. Still unbeaten so that’s a positive. I like the look of this team and MK seems to be a good tactician and motivator. The team is taking shape, but not sure about TJ at right back. And we need creativity in midfield – Bishop is just not consistent enough. Can turn it on occasionally, but that is it. Hopefully, Mandroui will be fit soon.
Things learned? Scully can only play on the left and Oakley-Booth needs a spell on the bench to learn about this league. Garrick is an excellent addition and will definitely fill that wide right spot.
Like others, I would like to see Kendall given a chance, but where do you play him? It can only be instead of Scully as Hopper is essential to how we play.”
