And now for the answers provided by Andy:

How long have you supported Crewe Alexandra?

My first game was in March 1968 like any good Dad should he took me. We actually got promoted a few weeks later but I had to wait till 1988/89 for the next one.

Where did you finish last season?</strong

2nd on PPG to Swindon although the actual final league table showed us top.

What do you think of your manager?

His first managerial role and he has done exceptionally well.

What are your hopes and expectations for the 2020/21 season?

Sustain a mid-table place at the start but during this season we have done very well so who knows where we might finish.

One(s) to watch?

Tom Lowry, Harry Pickering and Charlie Kirk.

Which teams you think will finish in the top six in League One?

Can’t see much change to the current top 6 in truth.

Which teams do you think will finish in the bottom four in League One?

Again, much the same as it currently is.

What are your thoughts on Lincoln City?

We have played you twice very early in the season and narrowly lost both games. Lincoln looked a very good side, but we have improved since those defeats.

What do you think the score will be?

1-2.

Random fact about your Club?

We were once “unofficially” known as The Robins.

If you could steal one Lincoln City player for your own team, who would it be and why?

Jorge Grant not just because of his goals but for his all-round play.

What are your proudest and most embarrassing moments as a Crewe Alexandra supporter?</strong

Reading the team out twice at Wembley Stadium in 2012 and 2013.

Who would you say is your most underrated player?

I don’t think we have one the young talent we have is widely accepted as having great potential.

Do you have a Supporters Trust and what role do they play at the Club?

Yes, it’s just 12 months old and it owns 12.5% of the Football Club.

Which was your favourite match involving Crewe Alexandra?

The 1997 play-off final saw us promoted to the second tier for the first time in our history and we had quite a few seasons there.

Which was your least favourite match involving Crewe Alexandra?

1993 play-off final, the clubs first-ever Wembley appearance and we lost on penalties.

Do you have a Former Players Association at Crewe Alexandra?

Yes, it was formed fairly recently by the supporter’s group and has a lot of ex-players signed up. We have had a Wembley 1997 reunion and also there are regular podcasts done featuring ex-players which are very popular.

What is the best thing about Crewe?

I was born and bred here and worked on the railway for 37 years, so our Railway heritage is key although it’s vastly becoming invisible through change. Thankfully, the FC are still The Railwaymen.
