The first two meetings between Portsmouth and Lincoln were both in the FA Cup third round, both at Fratton Park, and both ended in the same scoreline – what was it?

Views from the Match Thread ahead of kick-off:

Impish: “Yet another tough game against a fancied team, us with a few injuries and one or two looking a little tired. I think MA said we are now near the time to use the squad a bit more as the matches have been pretty relentless.”

Casperimp: “Yes it’s going to be tough but it will be just as tough for the if not tougher.

I still think we have no team to fear in this division certainly on the evidence that I have seen so far. Personally, I would be happy with a win because that’s what we are capable of on our day. We should let other teams fear us and they should be looking for the draw where we should be going for the jugular every match. We certainly have the players to be capable of that in my opinion.”

Impala: “Thought they were the best side visiting SB last year – bossed the game throughout. This year they have improved their away form but been strangely poor at home (reversal of last year), so will be very tough.”
