JT_LCFC: “Fantastic. Right in the mix after a supposedly sticky patch. One thing we have to remember that some of the games we haven’t played but we kept the points ticking over by not getting beat are crucial after victories like today.

Great to see Harry Anderson back though he’s a real live wire and instrumental in us going forward.”

evenstephen: “I just got back, I’m not sure what DC said at half-time but whatever it was we were totally transformed in the second 45 minutes. Crewe didn’t seem to have an answer and it was great to see. If we could play like that for 90 minutes then the sky would be the limit.”

Gaz_Imp: “About the 7th time I have said it since preseason, but I really like Whitehouse, so glad to see him heavily involved in this win. There is no doubt Knott is better on the ball, but doing nice things a lot of the time not near the goal on the whole has less impact than doing good things in the box a few times a game, and that’s what Whitehouse does – he gets in the box – and just having another body in there means things are more likely to happen, even if Whitehouse doesn’t get the ball himself. His energy also means we are more effective as a pressing side. That’s not to say I don’t rate Knotty, he is class, I just think we’d have to play in a different way to accommodate him starting, might be better off the bench the way we currently play.

And Anderson is just superb, our match winner.

For me these two have to start regularly now, just questions marks over who goes on the left and up top for me. If we can get the best out of Gino regularly he could certainly nail down the left hand spot.”
