Following the 1-1 draw at home versus Carlisle United in League One, I asked the Vital Lincoln City members to nominate who they believe was City’s Man of the Match. On this occasion, two players were nominated in the 24 hours following the thread being started. Those players were: Ethan Hamilton and Sean Roughan.

Chimpimp: “Sean Roughan is really settling in well in the back 3. He is just such a good defender.
We got in a real pickle at one stage, down the left in the second half, when Brown was making defending look pretty difficult.
Roughan just came across, kept his eye on the ball and took it off the attacker, who would have otherwise have been in on goal.
Just one example of the calm and assured start he has made to the season.”
bbh 11: “Hamilton for me, lost Plange for the goal, even so, he was the only one that came out of the first half with any credit. Roughan had a good second half too, one particular interception prevented the No.14 being through on goal.”
