Following the 2-0 defeat away at Derby County in the EFL Trophy, I asked the Vital Lincoln City members to nominate who they believe was City’s Man of the Match. On this occasion, three players were nominated in the 24 hours following the thread being started. Those players were: Oisin Gallagher, Jay Benn and Jovon Makama.
You can now vote for which of the four you believe was The Imps Man of The Match in the poll at the bottom! A screenshot of the poll will be taken 24 hours after it was started for the result!
Here are some of the views from the nominations thread:
sedgleyimp: “I’m concurring with Rheady and going for Gallagher. For a first start against an experienced line-up, he didn’t look out of place. Willing to put a challenge in and look for a through ball. Promising.”
clanford: “Benn for me. Worked hard and and got himself forward on numerous occasions. Looks a good prospect at right wing-back.”
Cricklewoodimp: “Gallagher for his encouraging first-half performance. Shout out to Makama and Benn who both did okay.”
Thank you to Graham Burrell and Lincoln City Football Club for the photograph!
