Ahead of tomorrow’s match, we have done a Q&A with an Exeter City supporter, so thank you to Paul for answering our questions!

You can discuss what has been said in this article HERE, as well as get involved with our pre-match threads: You can post your score predictions, discuss the starting XI and post your attendance predictions!

How long have you supported Exeter City?

60 years.

Where did you finish last season?

2nd.

What do you think of your manager?

He walks through walls!

What are your hopes and expectations for the 2022/23 season?

Promotion, 6th round of the FA Cup, League Cup 3rd Round. FA Youth Cup 4th Round, Wembley for the Trophy. Devon Bowl winners. Women’s team promoted and 5th Round of WFA.

One(s) to watch?

Josh Coley, Cheick Diabate, Harry Kite, Nelson Iseguan, and the rest of the team.

Which teams do you think will finish in the top six in League One?

Exeter City, Forest Green, Bristol Rovers, Wycombe, Port Vale, and Lincoln City.

Which teams do you think will finish in the bottom four in League One?

Derby County, MK Dons, Cheltenham, and Plymouth Argyle.

What are your thoughts on Lincoln City?

Like visiting and playing Lincoln.

What do you think the score will be?

1-1.

Random fact about your Club?

The first team to play Brazil. Scored 14 goals in an FA Cup game.

If you could steal one Lincoln City player for your own team, who would it be and why?

Scully. A forward who can score. It looks like he will get better.

What are your proudest and most embarrassing moments as an Exeter City supporter?

Winning at Wembley for the first time. Drawing at Old Trafford.

Crooks in charge in 2003.

Who would you say is your most underrated player?

Archie Collins.

Do you have a Supporters Trust and what role do they play at the Club?

We do! “We own our Club”.

Which was your favourite match involving Exeter City?

Exeter 4-0 Plymouth.

Beating Lincoln at home in a play-off.

Winning at Sheffield Wednesday.

Which was your least favourite match involving Exeter City?

All the Wembley defeats.

Do you have a Former Players Association at Exeter City?

Yes, loose but we will do another reunion hopefully this year.

Now that your “Away End” has been redeveloped, bearing in mind distances and match dates, how many visiting teams do you expect to fill it?

5 or 6, I think travel costs and inflation will hit football.

Which of your players could play at a higher level?

All of them.

Jamal Blackman. League Journeyman or just the experienced stopper you were craving? What is your honest gut feeling?

We have two excellent but young goalies, I think Jamal will be an excellent addition. He was on loan to a number of clubs whilst at Chelsea, but that does not make him a journeyman.
