How Long Have You Supported Coventry City?

My first game was at the age of 7, I’m now 23.

Last Season’s League Finish?

One not to remember, Russell Slade was the nail in the coffin unfortunately. Robins came in and picked up the pieces.

What Do You Think Of Your Manager?

He did well in his first term as manager, and since his second appointment at the club I personally believe he has done well, we have to remember the budget restraints he has to adhere to, with a lack of options in the squad it has been difficult to compete week in week out, but luckily we’re still in touching distance of the play-offs.

Hopes/Expectations This Season?

After the last two away performances of Mansfield and Wycombe I’d like to say we can push on and end up in the play-offs, the results in our last two games were massive.

One(s) To Watch?

Personally I’ve been impressed with the arrival of Johnson Clarke-Harris since his loan move in January. But the usual suspects of Marc McNulty and Michael Doyle are the ones to watch.

Top Seven Predictions?

Accrington Stanley, Luton Town, Notts County, Wycombe Wanderers, Coventry City, Exeter City and Lincoln City.

Bottom Two Predictions?

Luckily I haven’t had to look down there this season, but Barnet and Chesterfield look like they are cutting a drift from the bottom!

Thoughts on Lincoln City?

I knew they’d carry momentum from their promotion last season, but I have to say the work done by Danny Cowley has been outstanding to get in such a position with 12 games to go.

Score Prediction?

2-0 Coventry.

Random Fact About Your Club?

Coventry were the first Football Club in England to have an all-seater stadium!

What are your proudest and most embarrassing moments as a Coventry City Supporter?

Proudest – Winning at Wembley last season, even though its a low key competition, I was still immensely proud to see my team win at Wembley, something I will not forget!

Do you have a Supporters Trust and what role do they play at the Club?

Our Supporters Trust try their upmost best to get their views over to the owners, but as you can guess the owners are not the easiest of people to please.

Which was your favourite match involving Coventry City?

Manchester United away 2006 in the League Cup, we took 11,000 fans to Old Trafford and we won 2-0. Michael Mifsud with the brace.

Which was your least favourite match involving Coventry City?

A few years ago, we lost to non-league Worcester City in the FA Cup. That was a low point for me.

What’s the general impression of Jordan Maguire-Drew? Bit of a flop at Lincoln, although the lad had undoubted ability.

Exactly the same here at Coventry, hasn’t hit the ground running and seems to dip in and out of the squad.

How has a player of Stuart Beavon’s quality gone 26 games without a goal?

Beavon isn’t half the player he was at Burton two seasons ago, he doesn’t get close to the squad at the moment so their must be something going on that we don’t know, surprising as I thought he might thrive in League Two, which he clearly hasn’t.

Did the losses of Jodi Jones (injured) and Duckens Nazons (to Oldham), along with Ben Stevenson, basically scupper your promotion bid?

The loss of Jones had a small Impact on us, but Nazon has been replaced and Stevenson was very much fringe this season. But I’d like to have thought that if Jones was fit, we may have been slightly higher in the League table.

What’s the atmosphere like at the Ricoh? It must be surreal playing in a 32,000 seat arena when apart from the odd match this season you are generally getting between 6,500 to 7,500 at home?

Atmosphere probably doesn’t help the players in all honesty, but it is what it is.

How is the pitch bearing up at the Ricoh? With Coventry City, Wasps Rugby and women’s Six Nations all being played there it must take a hammering.

Until December the pitch was in great shape, then once the Wasps start playing every other week, it gets ripped to shreds.
