We have also published a quiz about the last time the two sides met at Whaddon Road, which can be found HERE, and there is also another 15-question quiz at the bottom of this article! Have a go at both and share your results on Twitter if you’re on there!

How long have you supported Cheltenham Town?

Since the late 80s.

Where did you finish last season?

15th (highest in the club’s history).

What do you think of your manager?

Tough act to follow after Michael Duff’s historic reign, but Wade Elliott has handled the step up from first-team coach to head coach admirably overall. If he keeps the club up again, it’s a significant achievement and should not be underestimated.

What were and now are your hopes and expectations for the 2022/23 season?

Survival. Any season for Cheltenham in League One is going to be a battle.

One(s) to watch?

Club record EFL scorer Alfie May, who scored a cracking volley in Saturday’s 1-0 home win over Fleetwood Town.

Which teams do you think will finish in the top six in League One?

Plymouth Argyle, Sheffield Wednesday, Ipswich Town, Bolton Wanderers, Derby County, and Barnsley.

Which teams do you think will finish in the bottom four in League One?

Forest Green Rovers, Morecambe, Cambridge United, and MK Dons.

What are your thoughts on Lincoln City?

Cheltenham haven’t played them yet this season, but they took four points off the Robins last term and to be 11th after 33 games shows what a solid job Mark Kennedy is doing at Sincil Bank.

What do you think the score will be?

1-1.

Random fact about your Club?

Midfielder Elliot Bonds was approached to be on the latest series of Love Island, but he turned them down to focus on his football.

If you could steal one Lincoln City player for your own team, who would it be and why?

Cheltenham are a little short of defensive options at the moment, so I’ll say Paudie O’Connor.

What are your proudest and most embarrassing moments as a Cheltenham Town supporter?

Winning promotion to the Football League for the first time in 1999 is the proudest.

Most embarrassing: Losing 2-1 at home to Alvechurch in the FA Cup first round this season has to be up there.

Who would you say is your most underrated player?

Former Lincoln City defender Sean Long, who is club captain and goes about his business superbly without enough recognition.

Which was your favourite match involving Cheltenham Town?

Rushden & Diamonds 1 Cheltenham Town 3, April 3, 1999 – a huge turning point in the 1998/99 Conference title race paved the way for the club to turn fully professional and enjoy a long spell in the Football League since.

Which was your least favourite match involving Cheltenham Town?

Probably the Alvechurch game, which is the biggest upset the club have been on the receiving end of their FA Cup history.

Do you have a Former Players Association at Cheltenham Town?

Not at the moment, but hopefully, it can make a comeback soon.
