How long have you supported Gillingham?
46 years.
Where did you finish last season?
10th.
What do you think of your manager?
Steve Evans is mouthy and passionate and I’d rather have him in the tent spitting out, successful though.
What are your hopes and expectations for the 2020/21 season?
Think with finances, we can only hope for decent mid-table but playoffs are never out of the question with Evans.
One(s) to watch?
Oli Lee, Jordan Graham and Kyle Dempsey.
Which teams you think will finish in the top six in League One?
The top six look strong and no one excels but at least two of them could be replaced by any of the next nine teams.
Which teams do you think will finish in the bottom four in League One?
Burton, Swindon, Wigan and Wimbledon.
What are your thoughts on Lincoln City?
Excellent team and club, well supported in the boardroom, the future looks good.
What do you think the score will be?
Difficult, think we will now improve, a draw would be good for us but we may snatch a win, don’t think we’ll lose, 0-1.

We once played the Royal Household!
If you could steal one Lincoln City player for your own team, who would it be and why?
Jorge Grant, versatility and effectiveness.
What are your proudest and most embarrassing moments as a Gillingham supporter?
Promotion to the Championship for the only time.
Losing 5-0 to a very good Colchester team on their way up. Awful.
Who would you say is your most underrated player?
Probably Ogilvie.
Do you have a Supporters Trust and what role do they play at the Club?
No, this was discouraged when Scally came and has never really happened, we did have one in the old days.
Which was your favourite match involving Gillingham?
Gillingham 3-1 Crystal Palace way back in the seventies, they were on the up big time, but we performed to beat them.
Which was your least favourite match involving Gillingham?
Losing at home to Maidstone in the FA Cup years ago. They were non-league and after two replays and at home.
Do you have a Former Players Association at Gillingham?
Not really, sometimes we’ve had players turning up to wave to the crowd but don’t think it’s encouraged.
What is the best thing about Gillingham?
Oh, dear! I always say it’s a dump but it’s my dump! The Station has been done up!
Do the benefits of having Steve Evans as manager outweigh the opprobrium that comes with being associated with one of the most widely reviled men in football?
Yes, Steve has had his problems but no one’s perfect, he’s probably not any worse than anyone else, hope he’s learned his lessons. He is a very good manager, how good on low finances? We’ll see.
What are your thoughts on John Akinde?
Well after listening to Danny Cowley and watching what Akinde does, I think he could do better if he chose to.
