Three Things The Imps Need To Do To Beat Fleetwood Town (h)

Ahead of Saturday’s match at home against Fleetwood Town in League One, I asked the Vital Lincoln City members what three things they think The Imps need to do to pick up all three points.

Here’s what Jamesimp said:

1. We need to get a forward playing up and alongside Hopper, we had a lot of possession in the previous two home games but didn’t get forward enough, we need someone like Kendall up there running off the flick-ons, getting behind the defence.

2. Team Lincoln needs to continue, all the crowd need to get behind the team, until the very end. The last few weeks have shown that we’re more than capable of doing this, the team have shown us they will keep pushing on until the final minute, no matter how desperate things get.

3. The defence needs to get its head around the game. TJ looks sluggish, he wasn’t when we first got him, he’s a young man with bags of potential. Poole isn’t having the best of times of late, we know he can do a lot better, we need a few 8/10 games from him. Robson simply needs to improve his defensive work, we all know he can push forward and put a cross in, he needs to do his defensive work first though.
