Ahead of Saturday’s match away at Doncaster RoversĀ (managed by Darren Moore) in League One, I asked the Vital Lincoln City members what three things they think The Imps need to do to pick up all three points.

You can discuss what has been said in this article HERE, as well as many other topics on our 100% Imps forum! We have also published a Lincoln City v Doncaster Rovers Quiz, which can be found below the three things. Every page view helps raise money for Lincoln City Football Club!

Here’s what Chesterimp said:

1. Wrap Brennan Johnson in cotton wool between matches. He continues to terrify every defence he comes across and his decision making is visibly improving match by match. Despite being new to the demands of first-team football, Michael Appleton clearly has faith in Brennan’s physical recovery between closely spaced games. Many of us thought he’d get a rest on Tuesday but played a full 90 minutes and is likely to start Saturday and next Tuesday before a break in the run of league games.

2. Keep up the tempo and keep creating chances, the finishing will come. I get the impression both Johnson and Hopper are well capable of going on a scoring run, just need a lucky break to get things going. All of the likely front 6 have a goal in them. Then someone will get an absolute hammering!

3. Doncaster are a strong side but after a good start have had a couple of disappointing results. They will be looking to redress that, so hit them hard and early to test their confidence – a start like Tuesday, with a little more luck. Lewis, you know what to do!
