At this time of success within the Football Club the Trust believe it is an opportune moment to promote the Gold Membership Scheme. The Scheme has been running since 2001 and commenced at a time when the additional money raised for the Club played a very important part in ensuring the survival of Lincoln City. Over the past 16 years the membership has raised approaching £150,000 for the Club. There is a strong and very stable current membership but we are always on the lookout for new members. So let us remind you of the cost and benefits of the Scheme.

(a) New members pay either £1,200 up front or £240 up front and 48 payments of £21.00 for a full 5 year membership.

(b) The benefits are:-

(i) Three times a season the Membership meet prior to a home game and hold a question and answer session with members of the Club Board and, of particular interest, with the Club Manager. So far this season two such meetings have been held and the feedback based on Danny Cowley’s involvement has been that they have been probably the best ever. The meetings are lively, entertaining and very informative. The next meeting will be prior to the Bromley game.

(ii) Once a season, a member can attend a game in the Boardroom with a guest of their choice and enjoy the hospitality available.

(iii) The Gold Membership have generally the same priority rights for high demand matches as season tickets holders. The tickets can be purchased through a nominated member of the Gold Membership, which is particularly beneficial for those who live away from the area. This avoids the possible need to obtain the tickets from the office in person. So Go for Gold and avoid the queues.

(iv) £100 of Lincoln City FC shares per annum.

(v) The Gold Membership also get to elect one of their members to act as their supporter Director who attends all the Board Meetings of the Club. That person plays a full part in the Board’s decision making. After each such Board meeting a summary report on the matters discussed is circulated to all members. Of course always taking care to avoid reference to confidential matters.

We are sure you will agree that the benefits of membership are substantial for a very reasonable annual cost. In addition you get to meet and interact with some of the most supportive of Lincoln City fans. So why not Go for Gold, support the Club and enjoy the benefits. If anybody is interested please contact the Gold Member Director, Stephen Tointon by email on stephen.tointon@saulfairholm.co.uk or by mail to the Club.
