Last season we finished 18th.

What do you think of your Manager?

I personally think we have got a very good manager with us. The players seem to want to play for him and fans seem to like him a lot.

What are your hopes and expectations for this season?

After last season for me was to see a big improvement from last season and I want to see us finish mid-table this season at least.

One(s) to watch?

Two players I think to watch are our goalkeeper James Mckeown and Elliot Embleton, who is a midfielder on loan from Sunderland.

Milton Keynes Dons, Lincoln City, Mansfield Town, Exeter City, Colchester United, Bury and Carlisle.

Who do you think will finish in the bottom 2?

Notts County and Morecambe.

What are your thoughts on Lincoln City?

I hate to say it but they seem to be doing things right. They have got a very good manager and a team who seem capable of winning the league.

If Town turn up, 2-1 Town.

Random fact about your Club?

What are your proudest and most embarrassing moments as a Grimsby Town Supporter?

Proudest: beating Liverpool 2-1 at Anfield in 2001/02.

Most Embarrassing: losing first playoff leg to Braintree 1-0 when we were big favourites to win the game.

Who would you say is your most underrated player?

Ahkeem Rose. Very young youngster coming through just needs more playing time.

Do you have a Supporters Trust and what role do they play at the Club?

Yes, we do which I’m a member of myself. They have a voice in the club and help get fans voice across to.

Which was your favourite match involving Grimsby Town?

My favourite match still is beating Liverpool 2-1 at Anfield.

Which was your least favourite match involving Grimsby Town?

Least favourite has to be losing to Bristol Rovers at Wembley on penalties in the playoff final.

I’m not sure on that to be honest.

What were your expectations of Jolley when he came in and has he lived up to them?

Come in and to keep us in the league and then improve this season which he is currently doing. He’s is definitely living up to them and hope it continues.

Why is the stand behind the goal called the Pontoon?

Got called the Pontoon after the Grimsby Pontoon at the docks where many of the mariners worked for five and a half days a week when the stand was named.

Now that the Peaks Parkway stadium is now a non-starter and given that Blundell Park is getting past its sell-by date are there any new proposals to move to a new ground?

There’s talk about building the stadium where they have just demolished the high rise flats but still waiting to hear what’s happening there.

There were rumours of a takeover bid for the club, what has happened to that?

John Fenty has come out and said that the rumours weren’t true but he is always willing to listen to offers as long as the buyer can prove he has the funds to look after Grimsby Town.
