The Lady Imps pay tribute to Keith Alexander
On behalf of the players, staff and everyone at OOH Lincoln Ladies F.C., I would like to make public how deeply saddened and shocked we all are at the sudden death of Keith Alexander.
Some of us were in his company the night before he passed away, so for those of us who saw him that evening the shock is even deeper!
Keith was known to all of us, as a gentleman, a fine football manager and superb football coach. And actually, most important of all, a ruddy good bloke!
He was also a dear friend to the club – he never waivered in his support for our players during his time with Lincoln, always being seen to give them verbal or written encouragement before matches of huge importance. And this support was important to us!
Everyone at the club will miss him both in football and as a person, and I take this opportunity to pass on our sincere condolences to his family and loved ones, and wish them well during this sad and difficult time for them.
