Forum Discussion:

mikeosullivan: “Bishop, Adelakun and Vernam to leave I would guess. Possibly Kendall too.

Kamson-Kamara, Worsfield-Gregg, and Gallagher out on loan. Benn maybe too, also Long if we sign another keeper.

I’m a little surprised that MK expects up to 8 coming in. 2 have arrived, so that leaves another 6. So there might be a couple of unexpected departures too.”

hulloutpost: “I hope Bishop doesn’t go. I’m working on the basis that he won’t likely be up to 90 minutes but without doing the math I feel he put in reasonable minutes last season.

I see him as somebody who offers something a little different to the rest of the squad with some quality about him. I could see him being used very effectively as an impact sub or in tactical change ups.

Who knows, perhaps even Bishop would be content with that if he has accepted his body cannot take a full game once or twice a week.”

libertine: “We’re going to have to be quick making a decision on Lasse Sorensen if his contract ends next year as many of us suspect. A contract renewal would have been baffling 5 months ago but if he keeps up his form at RWB then we’ve developed a great player who will leave for nothing.”

I do not think Bishop lasted 90mins very often … even if he sometimes had to stay on the pitch … be great if we could get a little money for him … but he came from Ipswich with this reputation … other clubs must know this > Adelakun will be difficult to move on … few can understand how Appleton could have given him such a long contract ?
