The Football League has now announced the Match Day officials that will take charge of the game between Northampton Town and Lincoln City on Saturday.

Northampton Town host Lincoln City on Saturday, August 4 for the game at PTS Academy Stadium and the match carries a 3.00pm kickoff.

Referee: Lee Swabey.
Assistants Refs: Lisa Rashid and Gregory Read.
Fourth Official: Stuart Butler.

Lee Swabey has been the man in the middle for five games involving Lincoln City:

18/8/12: Newport County 2-1 Lincoln City (Conference) – 3 yellow cards
26/3/13: Braintree Town 0-3 Lincoln City (Conference) – 2 yellow cards and 1 red card
31/8/13: Dartford 1-2 Lincoln City (Conference) – 2 yellow cards
7/2/15: Bristol Rovers 2-0 Lincoln City (Conference) – 3 yellow cards
12/9/17: Forest Green Rovers 0-1 Lincoln City (League Two) – 4 yellow cards.

Matchday referee Swabey took in 18 games during the 2017/18 season, showing a total of 57 yellow cards and one red card.

During last season, he was most card happy in the game between Charlton Athletic and Oldham Athletic, when he showed a total of 6 yellow cards.

Swabey took in 14 games in 2016/17, showing 59 yellows cards and three red cards.

His highest card count that year was in the game between Mansfield Town and Portsmouth in League Two, where he showed a total of 9 yellow cards.

Swabey took in 31 matches during the 2015-16 season and in those games, he handed out a total of 98 yellow cards and eleven red cards.

He was most card happy in the match between Stevenage and Mansfield Town on September 29, with a total of 8 yellow cards being shown.
