How long have you supported Northampton Town?

I’ve supported the Cobblers for over 7 years, however, the Cobblers have always been in my family. My late grandad being the club historian and my uncle being the former chairman. So I was always going to have to support them even if I didn’t want to.

Where did you finish last season?

Last season we finished in the playoff places in league two, we had to play Cheltenham in the playoff semi-finals. The first leg at Sixfields didn’t go to plan a 2-0 defeat. So the Cobblers went to the Jonny Rocks Stadium with a lot of work to do. The Cobblers did the inevitable and won the game 3-0 and won the tie 3-2 on aggregate and we went to play Exeter in the playoff final at Wembley.

The last time the Cobblers went to Wembley wasn’t a great occasion so the Cobblers fans were hopeful that this would be different and it will as a 4-0 victory over Exeter City and we clearly booked our place in sky bet league one.

What do you think of your manager?

Keith Curle did a fantastic job for the Cobbler’s last few seasons. He came into the club to do some good housekeeping and cut our age bill down and save us from regulation in League Two.

Last season he got his first promotion on his CV and it was fantastic that he did that. Over the summer it was hard to get players in due to COVID-19. However cure managed to get a few players in like Joseph Mills, Cain Bolger and Alan Sheehan.

In the summer Curle lost one of his first signings Charlie Goode, who we miss still now. This was for a record fee for the Cobblers.
