Following the 2-2 draw away at Northampton Town in League One, I asked the Vital Lincoln City members to nominate who they believe was City’s Man of the Match. On this occasion, three players were nominated in the 24 hours following the thread being started. Those players were: Reeco Hackett-Fairchild, Ethan Erhahon and Paudie O’Connor. You can now vote for which of the three you believe was The Imps Man of The Match in the poll at the bottom! A screenshot of the poll will be taken 24 hours after it was started for the result!
Here are some of the views from the nominations thread:
libertine: “Hackett. Had the ball glued to his feet at times and a brilliant finish.”
Chesterimp: “Having seen Hackett’s nomination, I’m desperately trying to think of alternatives as he was our best.
But when we were playing our best, Erhahon was at the heart of it and I think he’s a worthy nominee.”
Norfolk Imp: “Hackett on the right oozed class first half, quite why he was switched to the left and subsequently substituted, only MK knows.
O’Connor was superb at both ends and clinches the MotM award.”
Thank you to Graham Burrell and Lincoln City Football Club for the photograph!
