“Mark O’Hara was absolutely incredible.”

The Vital Lincoln City members’ voted for whom they believe was The Imps Man of The Match in their 2-0 win away at Milton Keynes Dons in Sky Bet League Two.

Views from Snats: “Our best team performance of the season but Mark O’Hara was absolutely incredible. Give him whatever contract he wants.”

Shackell: 2 votes – 3.5%
O’Hara: 24 votes – 42.1%
Pett: 22 votes – 38.6%
Andrade: 2 votes – 3.5%

Bostwick: 3 votes – 5.3%

More Comments:

Rasenimp: “O’Hara for me. Did some of the hard work that helped allow Pett to play who’d be my second choice!

Everyone did well though really. Akinde was very effective, a fantastic finish from Bruno, solid through the team. Very very professional performance”

berksimps: “The team has such understanding, belief and commitment it was a great display. Standouts: Pett from O’Hara, good holdup play from Akinde, and oh what a save from Gilks.

Pett is too good for League 2. The only way to get the ball off him was to foul him. Great timing in his tackles, cool on the ball and just as adept at short passes and returns, as spreading the ball to either wing. The man is class.”

Chimpimp: “Pett – He has such good control, it makes our attacking much more varied and therefore effective. We can play slightly less safe balls into him in the middle of the park, knowing he will cope with them. No coincidence our best form is now and the first 10 games of the season, when weather fair and grounds firm, enable Pett to be centre stage. So much for hoofball.

But it was his defensive work in the first half hour, where he made some vital tackles and interceptions, which were the bedrock of the clean sheet and win.”
