January 2023 Player Ratings

Only three players performed better than par in January. So, it would appear we have to discuss who our par performers were this month, rather than our star performers.

Top of the pile is TJ EYOMA for the second month in a row; strange then, that he was omitted for the final two games of the month. However, Lincoln kept clean sheets in both of those games, so what do we know?

The ever-dependable CARL RUSHWORTH takes second place and is certainly one of the best Imps goalkeepers for some time. As the club’s policy has been to take a first-choice goalkeeper on loan in recent years, we should not expect a bid for his services at the end of the season.

In third place we have another dependable character in PAUDIE O’CONNOR. Having taken time to adjust to the faster pace of League One, he appears to be the automatic choice in defence right now. With Lewis Montsma returning from injury, it will be interesting to see whether he keeps that automatic place.
