Following Saturday’s 2-1 win away at Milton Keynes Dons in League One, I asked the Vital Lincoln City members what three things they learned from the match.

Here’s what NottyImp said:

1. Huxtable is still a truly atrocious referee. He probably gets about 50% of decisions wrong. Today, he was matched by his linos, who were just as a bad. Definitely not the A-team of officials in L1 today.

But, don’t diss the Hux! we won, after all.

2. We’re a difficult team to break down. Clearly, perhaps especially away from home, we’re happy to concede possession to the ratio of 60/40 and play on the break. It seems relatively effective at the moment, but it isn’t always an easy watch. But who cares about that when we’re winning?

3. Palmer is a class ‘keeper of good L1 standard. Possibly the best LCFC ‘keeper this decade, but we’ll need to see more for that judgement. A definite upgrade on previous options.
