“He proved his scoring prowess on Saturday and we all know what he did for us on our last visit.”

Ahead of tomorrow night’s match against Milton Keynes Dons in Sky Bet League One, we asked our members what three things they think The Imps need to do to pick up all three points.

Here’s what Impalex said:

1. Give Andrade a start (and Anderson a rest), he proved his scoring prowess on Saturday and we all know what he did for us on our last visit to MK Dons. He must be raring to go, so why not? This is nothing against Harry as he has more than proved himself, it’s just that I feel we need all our best players at the top of their game.

2. Stick with the defensive line-up we started with on Saturday; Michael Bostwick could do with another game in midfield, just in case he has to cover again for the likes of O’Connor. It’s just good practice to do so.

3. Jorge Grant should be encouraged to get a little closer to Tyler Walker, there seems to be just a little too much space between them; he might then feed off Walker more and also get on the score chart! Toffolo and Payne will be more than capable of moving things down the left side.

And here’s what sedgleyimp said:

1. Make sure complacency doesn’t creep in. We are playing fantastically at the moment, making chances, scoring goals and being secure at the back. 4 games played with 4 wins. 9 goals scored shared between 7 of our players and none conceded. We are playing a team and at a ground where we won only a few months ago. That kind of run breeds confidence but can also mean you forget to respect the opponents. MK are a good side having spent well in the summer to strengthen and have a very good coach in Tisdale. We need to ensure that we don’t arrive there thinking the win will just come.

2. Patience will be needed. I don’t think that we have scored in the first half-hour of any match yet, but the four completed matches have shown that patient build-up will work and get the required result. Players and fans have shown great patience already this season and that needs to be continued.

3. Make set pieces count. With the left foot delivery of Grant, we have probably the best set-piece deliverer of a ball in the division. Much of our success in the National League was based upon set-piece prowess and the early signs this season are that in Grant we have someone who will consistently put the ball in the exact spot it needs to be to cause opposition defences immense problems.
