Ahead of tomorrow’s match at home against Cambridge United in League One, I asked the Vital Lincoln City members what three things they think The Imps need to do to pick up all three points.

You can post your score predictions, discuss the starting XI, and predict the attendance!

We have also published a quiz about the last time the two sides met at Sincil Bank, which can be found HERE, or at the bottom of the page!

Here’s what Chimpimp said (discussion link):

While there are many theories and viewpoints on Lincoln’s home form, the fact is that no away side has left after a League game with a win since last April…but not enough have left with nothing.

30 points claimed by inching up the table have left Lincoln better placed than last season but not far enough up for anyone to relax, completely.

Looking up from the bottom (as FGR and Burton are) a couple of wins for Lincoln would take them out of your sights for a good while, if not completely.

If you were sat in Nailsworth or Burton you would worry Lincoln might suddenly pick up 2 or 3 home wins, with the top teams already dealt with at Sincil bank…

…and that’s what Lincoln need to give themselves the best chance to do, by…

1. Taking the odd calculated gamble….wins are worth 3 draws, so it’s a reward worth pushing for.

2. Do your calculations well, smart risks will pay off…but reckless and unrealistic plans aren’t smart.

3. However you do it, end the match with one more goal than Cambridge, and the world will seem a much better place.

Thank you to Graham Burrell and Lincoln City Football Club for the photograph!
