Chesterimp: “5.

No game-changing errors but too many mistakes and inconsistencies for me to mark higher. From Scully’s saved shot being a goal kick, to over tolerance of O’Nien, and several points in between.”

Rasenimp: “7, did pretty well. I thought him and his assistants seemed like they got a few throw-ins/goal kicks wrong and a couple of times he could have let the play flow or not give the foul when either side still had the ball in a decent place.

Having said that, he was probably right to avoid a couple of bookings for both sides (even when I was screaming for O’Nien to be booked earlier than he was, for example).”

berksimps: “Thought he let things flow when he could and was happy with reasonably hard tackling and contact. Although in the later stages Hopper should have had a penalty when he was wrestled to the ground. 8/10.”

Craig Hicks: 2020/21 Stats:

07/08/21: Ipswich Town 2-2 Morecambe (League One) – 5 yellow cards
11/08/21: Leyton Orient 1-1 Queens Park Rangers (EFL Cup) – 2 yellow cards
17/08/21: Walsall 1-1 Scunthorpe United (League Two) – 3 yellow cards
21/08/21: Charlton Athletic 0-2 Wigan Athletic (League One) – 4 yellow cards
11/09/21: Rotherham United 2-4 Fleetwood Town (League One) – 3 yellow cards
14/09/21: Newport County 0-1 Northampton Town (League Two) – 4 yellow cards

TOTALS: Matches: 6 Yellow Cards: 21 Red Cards: 0

He was just a little card happy in the League One match between Burton Albion and Sunderland, which finished 3-0 to the visitors. He showed 8 yellow cards and 1 red card.
