APR in 2-0 home victory against Wrexham

After a fairly solid 2-0 victory on Monday against Wrexham at Sincil Bank, Imps fans have proven to be fairly generous in their ratings of players in the aftermath of the win.

In what was a game of two defences, one excellent one not so, the big winners in the ratings for this game are city’s back four with all for achieving a rating of above 7. Andrew Boyce who has not fallen below the 7 mark this season ranked a very impressive 8.00. Captain for the day Nat Brown, ranked highly as well leading by example and scoring 7.64.

Ben Tomlinson’s tireless display and first two goals for the club, pushed him close to picking up the champagne with a cool 8.17, but powering past him as he did on many occasions on saturday was Mo Fofana with a hefty 8.23.

Languishing at the bottom of the standings were Jake Sheridan (6.29) and Danny Rowe (6.52) who both failed to get into the game, and Paul Farman (6.64), although the fact Farman got such a poor rating was more down to inactivity, rather than anything being wrong.

Full ratings are as follows:

Imps 4-2-3-1

Paul Farman 6.64

Sean Newton 7.29
Nat Brown 7.64
Andrew Boyce 8.00
Dan Gray 7.23

Jon Nolan 7.05
Mo Fofana 8.23

Waide Fairhurst 6.76
Danny Rowe 6.52
Jake Sheridan 6.29

Ben Tomlinson 8.17
