Thanks to our pair of summarisers this week, Marco 66 and PWould! A difficult game to make on a Tuesday night even if you do live a little nearer, and our thanks go to those two having been part of the 83 travelling Imps.
There weren’t huge differences in their scores, generally only disagreeing on the odd mark. We can see there weren’t really any standout performers, with Tom Miller, Jon Nolan and Ben Tomlinson all coming out at 7.
Perhaps most interestingly are the glaring failures of each substitute to make any sort of impact, with each scoring 4. That certainly tallies with going down to a late goal! Sean Newton’s mark of 5 is his lowest of the season and means he loses ground on Andrew Boyce and Ben Tomlinson as City’s best rated player of the season so far.
