APR in 2-1 away victory

The Imps snuck out of Princes Park on Saturday, with the post still ringing and Nat Browns arms still stinging from a late Dartford siege, with Lincoln recording their first three points of the season away from Sincil Bank.

The big winners in the ratings Saturday were again Lincoln’s defenders with 3 out of 4 scoring 7 or more. Sean Newton who has been a solid scorer in the ratings this season picked up an impressive 7.3. Nat Brown who again lead the Imps, and has been a revelation at the bank since his return picked up a healthy 7.6.

Ben Tomlinson again lead the line with his tireless running, something the fans always love, and rounded his performance off with a goal, meaning picked up a cool 7.6. The man picking up the fans champagne this week though, who can do no wrong at the moment is Andrew Boyce with an exceptional 8.6 and his first goal of the season.

The rest of the team all picked up a rating of 6.66 (8 players), which probably shows that the imps midfield and wide men failed to control the game as well as the Imps fans, that made the long trip to Dartford would have liked. Danny Rowe can probably feel slightly aggrieved with his 6.6 after gaining two assists, but that’s football sometimes nobody notices who swings your corners in unless they don’t beat the first man.
