APR in 1-1 away draw V Barnet

Lincoln left The Hive Saturday evening, a point to the good, after a dramatic last minute strike by Jon Nolan gave the Imps a share of the spoils, in what was a battling display in North London against Barnet.

How the ratings may have been different had scouse scoundrel Nolan not popped up with the finish, but he did and plenty of Imps players scored highly from the travelling Imps faithful, something I wouldn’t have predicted in the 91st minute.

Full backs Tom Miller and Sean Newton were as solid as ever, and were rewarded with 7.00 and 7.17 respectively, the rest of the back four though weren’t as fortunate and all scored under the 7 mark. Jake Sheridan was also rewarded for his battling display and constant running with 7.00

Todd Jordan was hit with a very low 4.83, although to be fair I’m sure if you asked him, he wouldn’t say he was a winger, and was there to win headers. Nick Wright (5.16) also scored poorly after coming on with a lethargic display, at one point i thought he might try running after something, he didn’t and he missed the coach home.

The bucks fizz this week though won’t last long, with three people getting an impressive 7.83 from the imps engine room. Alan Power, Mo Fofana and Jon Nolan were all tidy in possession and full of energy, and were all rewarded with impressive scores and the man of the match from the faithful behind the goal, encouraging scores from a hard away day.
