“Andrade took his goals well.”

The Vital Lincoln City members’ voted for whom they believe The Imps Man of The Match was in their 2-0 win away at Morecambe in Sky Bet League Two.

Views from Chesterimp: “Really hard to choose a Man of The Match from a good team performance, to which all the starters contributed. Andrade took his goals well, he and Rowe stretched their defence; Pett and Toffolo industrious and combined well down the left; the O’ central midfield competed well where they knew it would be a scrap, defence effective, Gilks assured. Akinde runs close for the job he did on their central defenders and an assist, but O’Hara shades it by showing on his full debut what he’s capable of, including an assist.”

Here’s how the poll finished:

Gilks: 0 votes – 0.0%
O’Connor: 1 vote – 4.3%
Shackell: 0 votes – 0.0%
O’Hara: 7 votes – 30.4%
Pett: 1 vote – 4.3%
Andrade: 11 votes – 47.8%
Toffolo: 0 votes – 0.0%
Bostwick: 1 vote – 4.3%
Rowe: 1 vote – 4.3%
Eardley: 0 votes – 0.0%
Akinde: 1 vote – 4.3%
McCartan: 0 votes – 0.0%
Rhead: 0 votes – 0.0%

sedgleyimp: “Andrade for the same reason as last week ie you score twice in a 2-0 win you are MOM. Decent professional performances across the board though.”

Jules: “There were some very good performances today. The two that stood out for me were Andrade and Akinde.

Andrade has looked quality since his return from suspension. He wanted the ball, looked a threat all game and took his two goals very well.

Akinde never stops. He caused problems for their defence all day and played his part in the second goal.”

Stevie_imp: “Good team performance from everyone. However when you totally boss the opposition for 90 mins and score twice while playing in a wide position, then you are rightly man of the match. Well done Andrade, top player two matched in a row.”
