617 Squadron Statement

Below is a Statement from Supporters’ Group 617 Squadron:

“Today you will have noticed, if at the match, that a number of us decided not to attend the game. We have worked tirelessly to improve match day atmosphere home and away.

We feel taken for granted and don’t feel like the board are being open or honest enough, we are not confident this board have shown any reason to make us think they can’t get us out of this mess.

We want strong leadership. We want to be talked to and listened too.

We intend for this to be the start of formal opposition to the ineffectiveness of the board.

We wish to pay tribute to the lads who were in Block 7 today, they did us proud and we totally respect their decision to attend.

A number of us will also not be there at the next game and only will return for the last home game as is tradition.

It’s time for the board to be open and show leadership at this dire time for our famous club UTI”
