All Our Sincil Bank Yesterdays continues with the rebuilding of the St Andrews Stand.

After the Bradford fire, the deaths of 56 fans and horrific burns to many fans, the Imps decided that a wooden stadium was not the way forward. Construction began in the summer of 1986 with The Stand opening in November 1987. The initial plans had been for one to run the full length of the pitch with a capacity approaching 3,000, however relegation to the conference saw a scaled down version with the ability to extend at both ends. The stand seats1400 and is known as the Echo stand for sponsorship reasons.

As for the future of the St Andrews side of the ground, their plans afoot to build a two-tier 7,000 plus stand when the time arrives.

Thanks again to Red Wimp for the construction pictures.
