With Shrewsbury Town appearing to be one of City’s bogey teams manager Steve Tilson will be hoping that the same team spirit which has lifted them to 15th place in League 2 will again show itself tonight at Sincil Bank.

The promotion chasing, high spending Shrews come to Sincil Bank on the back of two good wins against Burton at home and Southend away. City go into this game looking to make it six wins in six.

Having made nine signings in the transfer window Graham Turner’s side have a large squad to choose from and some talented players have been drafted in and are starting to gel as a team.

Steve Tilson will know striker Matt Harrold as he played under him at Southend. James Collins from Aston Villa and Jermaine Grandison are two more signings who have had an intant impact on a team that was struggling over the Christmas period.

The Shrews also completed the move from Torquay of the highly rated midfielder Nicky Wroe who will probably line up in midfield alongside on loan Wolves player David Davis.

The form suggests that the Imps should get the result but with Shrewsbury now building up a head of steam Vital Lincoln has this one down as a draw.
