How Long Have You Supported North Ferriby United?

5-6 years now. My grandad and uncle have always attended NFU games when Hull City, where they were season-pass holders, were playing away. So I started to join them. I’ve been lucky enough to witness 3 promotions and a Wembley final.

Last Season’s League Finish?

2nd place. Winners of the play-off.

What Do You Think Of Your Manager?

Brilliant guy, very down to earth. Seems to be a real ‘people person’, always smiling and the players, staff, fans have responded well to him.

The club is up for sale again; what is the current position, and have Steve and Eman Forster set any kind of deadline?

Not to my knowledge. They’ve shown they’re still dedicated to the club by allowing Steve Housham to strengthen his squad.

Hopes/Expectations This Season?

After one game, we’re currently sitting in 14th place… I’d take that! I think people are expecting us to go down. For the players who have been with the club for the last few years, I really hope they get the chance to enjoy their experience in the Conference and hopefully go on to make a name of themselves.

One(s) To Watch?

Curtis Bateson. But don’t put your best defender on him… honestly, it’s fine. This guy can turn anyone inside out. Great shot, great dribble. Real fan favourite.

Who are North Ferriby’s local rivals?

Geographically, Hull City. This season, we’ve got you guys and York City as our close league rivals.

Top Five Predictions?

I’m sure York will be looking to bounce back and get back up there. Probably Braintree and Dover again! Braintree looked great on Saturday when they had the ball, they’re a very capable club.

1. Dagenham & Redbridge
2. Dover Athletic
3. York City
4. Braintree Town
5. Macclesfield Town

Bottom Four Predictions?

It’s a tough one. Obviously, we’re expected to be in there as the new boys but I think we will surprise people!

1. Torquay United
2. Boreham Wood
3. Guiseley AFC
4. Chester FC

Thoughts on Lincoln City?

I hope you field the same team from our FA Trophy game in 2014!

Score Prediction?

I’m hoping for 2-0 North Ferriby. We’re really dangerous from midfield, plenty capable of scoring from behind the strikers. Rory Watson looks like a quality keeper… I’ll give him a clean sheet!

Random Fact About Your Club?

We’re the only team to not have lost or conceded a goal in the Conference *disclaimer… ok we’ve only played one game at this level* haha!
