You can get involved with today’s Ipswich Town v Lincoln City Match Thread, as well as get involved with our pre-match threads: You can post your score predictions, discuss the starting XI, and predict the attendance!

How long have you supported Ipswich Town?

Since 1993ish. My first match was Coventry City at home.

Where did you finish last season?

11th. A bad start to the season cost us massively.

What do you think of your manager?

Honestly, so far, he seems like one of the best young managers in the country.

What are your hopes and expectations for the 2022/23 season?

The way we are playing I really expect the top 6. Hopefully, top 2.

One(s) to watch?

Conor Chaplin & Marcus Harness are on fire. Wes Burns is always a danger.

Which teams do you think will finish in the top six in League One?

Ipswich, Sheff Wed, Portsmouth, Derby, Barnsley, and Peterborough.

Which teams do you think will finish in the bottom four in League One?

The current 4: Morecambe, Forest Green, Burton, and MK Dons.

What are your thoughts on Lincoln City?

Very well run club. Done brilliantly to climb the leagues. Very unlucky not to get to the Championship.

What do you think the score will be?

2-1 to Ipswich. With the form we are in, I’m confident going into every game.

Random fact about your Club?

We’re unbeaten at home in Europe, including games against Barcelona, Real Madrid, Inter Milan & AC Milan.

If you could steal one Lincoln City player for your own team, who would it be and why?

Lewis Montsma always seems to do well against us. Or I’d have Teddy Bishop back.

What are your proudest and most embarrassing moments as an Ipswich Town supporter?

My Proudest would be promotion to the Premier League in 2000.

My most embarrassing is we haven’t beaten Norwich in over 10 years. We’ve barely even been in the same league as them.

Who would you say is your most underrated player?

Our GK Christian Walton is possibly the best keeper in the league but doesn’t get much recognition because the defence in front of him has been brilliant.

Do you have a Supporters Trust and what role do they play at the Club?

The supporters club provide a good link between the fans and the club.

Which was your favourite match involving Ipswich Town?

In February 2003, our former assistant manager Dale Roberts passed away. Our next game was against Sheffield United. We were down to 10 men after 20 minutes, and 2-0 down at half-time. We fought back and won 3-2 with an 88th min winner. Amazing game and a great tribute.

Which was your least favourite match involving Ipswich Town?

Any time we lose to Norwich. The following few days hurt.

Do you have a Former Players Association at Ipswich Town?

I don’t think officially. But there are always former players around the stadium on matchdays, on local radio commentary and in the fan zone.
